Musica.

Liam loves to dance. He has bopped to the beat of a song ever since he was in the womb. Literally. I'll have to dig out the video of my pregnant belly squirming to music. It must be the Latino in him. Here he is playing the piano at 11 months. ;)

Since the boy loves music so much I try to make sure he is listening to mostly Spanish music. I feel that it reinforces the language even more.

After the first year of Liam's life was spent listening to the same 2 Spanish CDs over and over again, I was desperate to find something new and something that was Mom friendly.

That's when I found out about Music With Sara over at SpanglishBaby! She sings catchy little songs in Spanish and English. I just love that she has a song for most of the big holidays too. Liam absolutely LOVES the Halloween song, Los Monstruos. He can not help but to dance when he hears it. We still listen to it even though it's March. Hehe! I love the traditional songs, as well. I feel that they help Liam connect with his Latino heritage.

You can listen to Sara's music on her website and even view cute little videos!  Her digital albums are only $5 and it's worth every penny.

You can also check out an interview with Sara and enter a giveaway of her music at Growing Up Bilingual!

Here's a more recent video of Liam clapping along to one of Sara's CDs! I apologize for the shortness, but this video is from Vine. Speaking of which...if you're on Vine look me up! : D

    1. What an awesome connection. Liam has been listening to her long enough now that he recognizes the songs when they come on! :)
